LOOKING BACK - AND FORWARD !
At the end of 2008, we wished for 2009 to be a year
which we could look back on, with pride.
Here are just some of our achievements;
First, the website;
Rhondda Records is proud to note
that our website's fourth year has;
* Achieved 50,000 visitors
(well over 600,000 hits).
* Attracted more Top Ten Writers
of the HIGHEST CALIBRE to
help keep that independent thought
which is so typical of the valleys,
(and which our "masters" fear !)
" Made many friends and contacts
ALL OVER THE WORLD, including
some top thinkers in political
economy and - of course - Peace.

2009 also saw great development
in other projects;
* The Boilerhouse project is
now having the Boilerhouse
transferred to us by RCT;
we've altered the project
to a "Limited Liability" company;
the Committee has put on
many fund-raising shows & events;
has set up accounts, a bank account,
and a new constitution to
guide the project forward;
has added a theatre & restaurant;
& this year plans to finally start on repairs.

* The "Rhondda Show" is now actively
engaged in meeting Wales' top writers
and experts, to help realise the vision.
* * *
* Our artists continue to grow....
Richard and Effran reaching new levels
of technical and musical excellence !

* New artists come and go...
Yet one new man we hope will stay,
is "Kernow" Richard, a
talent to really excite !

Those to thank, this year, are so many...
So many thanks and warm praise to all of you
who gave your time or your money to Rhondda Records.
Every single donation is a gift of love.
We, again, especially thank Pat Jones,
our "one-person-band".
Without her, Rhondda Records would fold.
She stands and smiles in all weathers....
collecting and connecting with Rhondda people
- a true beacon of hope. Another big warm hug for her...
she PROVES the Rhondda's heart is alive and well.
Everything she does, is deeply appreciated.
A similar thank you again to Effran Kaye...
the shy biker from Heewontsayee.
A very special and precious friend,
and a man who is dedicated to music,
